Support Groups
8-80 AA – Meets every Sunday from 6-8 p.m.
Central Pacific AA – Meets every Thursday from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Nurses AA – Meets every Monday from 7-8:30 p.m.
Downtown Coalition for Grief Support – Central Lutheran Church supports the Downtown Coalition for Grief Support, which meets weekly at downtown locations from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday mornings. Starting May 3 the group meets at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 215 South 8th Street, Minneapolis, 612-767-6622. Parking is available on the east side of the church. Anyone is welcome to join at any time. Each meeting includes an educational presentation or a personal story of grief and recovery. Speakers share their professional knowledge on grief and loss, or persons experiencing the death of a loved one. Following the speaker, small groups provide an opportunity to support others experiencing a smiliar loss.
